Dr. Jonathan Newgren, was accepted into the "Exploring Psychoanalysis" 2023-2024 class at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.

Dr. Edwin Meresh, Professor of Psychiatry was selected as a recipient of the 2022-2023 American Psychiatric Association (APA) Irma Bland, MD, Certificate of Excellence in Teaching Residents.

Dr. Jessica Wuest, was accepted into the "Exploring Psychoanalysis" 2022-2023 class at the Chicago Psychoanalytic Institute.

Dr. Rachel Blanda, was awarded, Resident Teacher of the Year by the M3 Stritch Medical School Class for AY21-22.

Dr. Edwin Meresh received a 2022 Roeske Teaching Award from the American Psychiatric Association. This award was established in 1990 to honor Dr. Nancy C.A. Roeske and is awarded to individuals who have made outstanding and sustaining contributions to medical student education.

Dr. Rao, Dr. Meresh and Dr. Czarnkowski were announced as the winners of 2018 Wolf and Kettle Teacher Award for Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine

Dr. Jack Owens was announced the winner of the 2017 Trainee Travel Award by the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship and Awards Committee

Dr. Murali Rao was announced the winner of the 2016 Innovation in Patient Care Award by the Illinois Psychiatric Society to recognize his contribution to the improvement of clinical services through innovation.

Dr. Edwin Meresh and Dr. Brandon Sanders were nominated for Faculty of the Year Honorable mention by the M3 Stritch Medical School Class

Dr. Mary Lou Gutierrez, was named to the 2016 Negocios Now’s list of Who’s Who in Hispanic Chicago. Dr. Gutierrez also was named to the 2015 Who’s Who list.

Dr. David Schilling was announced the winner recipient of the York Education Grant to begin in the 2016-17 academic year. This grant will endeavor to assess the reliability of the various clerkship assessments.
