Clinical Volume

During the two-year non-tracked fellowship rotating across four hospital settings, our fellows experience the full breadth of Cardiothoracic Surgery. They will take care of a diverse patient population with benign and malignant disease, spanning the full spectrum of case complexity. This allows our fellows to graduate with confidence in their surgical capabilities and to be comfortable utilizing a robust surgical armamentarium. Our fellowship program produces cardiothoracic surgeons ready to assume independent clinical practice in the community or academic setting at the end of their fellowship, without feeling the need to seek additional training.
