Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgery Residency
Welcome and thank you for taking interest in our Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship program. Our two-year, ACGME-accredited Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship offers rigorous and comprehensive surgical training, coupling a high-volume operative experience with state-of-the-art patient care.
Our fellows benefit from a rich volume of advanced, as well as bread-and-butter procedures performed in a modern tertiary care center with award winning nursing care. Fellows are exposed to the true breadth of Cardiothoracic Surgery, mastering minimally invasive approaches, as well as cutting-edge technologies in both Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery. Our faculty and team have been nationally recognized for our exceptional surgical care, as demonstrated by consistently being ranked among the top cardiovascular centers in the nation by the U.S. News and World Report magazine, as well as the Thoracic Surgery program recently earning the highest possible rating from the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) for our lung cancer care. Our goal is to train the next generation of Cardiac and Thoracic surgeons who continue to provide the highest quality of care to the communities around them, across a multitude of clinical settings.
