MAYWOOD, IL – Loyola Medicine is proud to announce that 21 of its physicians have been named to the Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine list, a national distinction recognizing female physicians who demonstrate outstanding clinical expertise, leadership and commitment to patient-centered care. 

The Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine designation honors physicians who are nominated by their peers and selected through a rigorous, physician-led research and review process. Honorees represent the top tier of women physicians nationwide who are advancing medicine through clinical care, research, community service, education and leadership.
