Residency: MercyHealth GME in Rockford, IL
Career Plan: Critical Care Medicine
Greetings, everyone. I grew up in Chicago, IL in the Rogers Park/Jefferson Park area. I completed my undergraduate degree at Loyola University Chicago. Over there I developed my passion for medicine while doing research with zebrafish. I attended medical school at KYCOM in Pikeville, Kentucky. I moved back to the area where I did my internal medicine residency at MercyHealth GME in Rockford, IL. I chose to continue my passion as one of the Chief Residents at Loyola University MacNeal as I was moved by their dedication to serving the surrounding community, supportive faculty and opportunities in leadership and scholarly activity. My future entails a career in Critical Care Medicine. My focus is on resident/medical education, resident didactics and helping our medical students continue to develop their passion for medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and exploring the world.
