How to Apply to the Pediatric Residency Program

Applications to the Pediatric Residency Program at Loyola University Medical Center are submitted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

Application & Interview Timeline
Interview invitations are sent via thalamus in compliance with recommended dates by the APPD and conducted virtually from mid October through December or January

Application Requirements
In addition to your ERAS application, please submit:

• Medical School Performance Evaluation Dean’s Letter
• Three letters of recommendation a department chair letter is not required
• Personal statement
• Curriculum vitae
• Medical school transcript
• USMLE or COMLEX 1 and 2 scores

Note: A passing USMLE Step 2 score is not required to receive an interview invitation but must be submitted prior to the program’s rank list deadline.
