MAYWOOD, IL – Austin B. Frazier, Jr., regional vice president of finance, Loyola Medical Group, was named a Top 50 Financial Leader this week by the National Diversity & Leadership Conference.
The Financial Leadership Award is designed to recognize individuals who have made a difference through their achievements, according to DiversityFirst™, and exemplify the ability to excel in their field. The award gives prominence to the accomplishments of women and men who construct, innovate and pioneer in the local and global economy. Financial leaders contribute to the growth and profitability of their company and community and are actively involved in mentoring the upcoming generation of professionals within the financial industry.
The Top 50 Financial Leaders were announced during the organization’s 17th Annual National Diversity and Leadership Conference, held April 21-22 and April 28-29, 2021. The theme of this year’s virtual conference was “Be a Changemaker,” and honored diverse talent from various industries.
“I am honored to be recognized among so many talented financial professionals throughout the U.S.,” said Frazier.
Frazier, specifically credited Trinity Health, Loyola’s mentorship program, and Daniel P. Isacksen, Jr., regional chief financial officer, for "supporting and providing opportunities for professionals who come from different backgrounds." Frazier is currently mentoring a Trinity Health financial professional in Florida.

Frazier, originally from Philadelphia, joined Loyola in 2017 as the regional director of revenue cycle and finance operations. He was named regional vice president of finance, Loyola Medical Group, in December 2019. Prior to joining Loyola, Frazier served as director of health information management at Texas Children’s Hospital. He has also held positions with Bon Secours Virginia Health System, Peak Health Solutions, MedQuist, Inc. and HP3, Inc.
Frazier received a Bachelor of Science degree in health information management from Temple University and a Master of Business Administration in health care finance from George Washington University. He is a board member for the Chicago Hope Academy.
