The procedure itself was awful- but Dr Z made it a good experience… kudos.

His student did most of the work. He lacked personality. He walked in with a Fellow (who was more engaging) and looked at one of my issue and told the student what to order and told me to come back for a follow up.. He didn't even look at what my original appointment was for. In and out in less than a minute. Why recommend someone to this practice, especially if they change doctors every year.

He listened to me about an issue that’s been going on along with tested me immediately after the first session when he saw no improvement. He’s going to look into the underlying issue which is why I sought Dermatology at Loyola. The wait was over a year but I’m so hopeful to get answers pertaining to my skin issues.

The doctor was very thorough with his examination

02/16/2026

As I explained in the first section, that was the worst skin check I’ve ever had by whoever the first doctor was. The second doctor had his arms folded the whole time standing a foot away from, while they were both friendly enough spend more time with patient interaction and physical exam. I don’t think the man even touched my skin I had to point out a blemish I was concerned about.

The doctor was very thorough. He also noticed that I needed blood work and I was able to do it right in the same office which was wonderful.

Being an older, overweight patient, it can be very uncomfortable getting a full-body skin exam--especially from a male doctor--even more so when he is accompanied by several medical students of both sexes. Dr. Z performed the exam in such a graceful and respectful manner that it made the experience almost bearable. I hope he teaches that skill to his students and remains with Loyola for a long time.

His follow through and concern for my health was the upmost. He said no worries that even with no office open during the holidays he was there and will take care me throughout the process. Did not experience that before in my healthcare needs.

Dr. Z was thorough and knowledgeable. The resident was also - plus she spent a lot of time with me, answering questions.

I will not be returning based on my experience. I also felt need to seek consultation with another doctor outside Loyola for my diagnosis.

Dr. Zisansha made me feel very comfortable. He treated me with respect and took his time examining me for my full body skin cancer check. I already have my appointment booked for next year. And, I have already recommended him to a few friends.
