I am OK if the resident/fellow talks to us. But, as a supervising physician, the attending should at least show up his or her face and see if there are any other concerns he or she can address. Residents and fellows are still learning. They are trainees. As good as they can be, at the end of the day is the attending that should be on top of the visit.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Barsanti Sekhar during my interview. I was particularly impressed by her thorough and attentive approach to the examination—she evaluated me comprehensively from head to toe and offered clear, actionable guidance on preventive care. She took the time to reinforce the healthy habits I’ve already developed and provided thoughtful encouragement in areas such as balance, nutrition, and exercise. Her supportive and detailed manner left a strong impression and made me feel genuinely cared for.

Dr. Barsanti took us in after the scheduled healthcare provider was not present at all. She did us a favor and squeezed us in last minute and that day. She is amazing and wonderful with newborns and parents. She went out of her way in a hospital that is poorly managed.
