Dr. James Rupp has been my physician for at least two decades. I've been very happy with his professionalism and medical knowledge. He keeps abreast of the latest treatment protocols and manages his paitienht with the latest medical thinking and therapy.
Always seems to be in a rush, did not cover all of the subjects relating to my issue that day that he should, seems ready to get on with his next appointment. Generally a nice person but often feel he could have provided me with more support; IE: should I follow up with you after finishing the meds perscribed, do I continue with the meds Im on,, did not provide me with his diagnosis of the chest xray beyond that of the Radiologist, know him for many years, just disappointing.

He knows me and my medical history. He ordered a blood test but didn't tell me to fast before I took the test so that caused a couple of trips to the lab. Overall extremely happy with him and his practice!
Dr Rupp can be nice but when you question too deeply I think he feels disrespected and not is not the case. A patient who has undergone alot of trauma in a few short years - well sometimes it's difficult to take it all in. So I've stopped asking for help for what really matters. I was on the couch for seven months due to painful headaches, neck pain, eye weakness and TMJ - that was never addressed, I have to work through that myself and am trying to seek help outside the system and just pay for it rather than bother with the double insurance I have. Sometimes people appear ok but are only hanging on by a thread and can go silent and numb rather than ask a question when they feel threatening or dismissed. It's not worth the mental fight.
