Dr. Felipe De Alba is a Vitreoretinal specialist at Loyola University Medical Center. He is currently the Director of the Retina Service. He has been at Loyola since the year 2000. He grew up in Mexico. He obtained his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Coahuila. He immigrated to the US. He completed his Ophthalmology training in University of Nebraska. He then completed a Vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at the University of Illinois. Subsequently he started to practice at Loyola. He is involved in patient care, resident and medical student education and ophthalmic research.
