About

I received my Medical Degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. I completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, including a year as Chief Resident. After residency, I returned to Loyola and began my primary care practice in Maywood through the Department of Family Medicine. My clinical interests include women’s health, children’s health, preventive medicine and chronic disease management. I also have experience in the care of diverse populations, including the care of Spanish-speaking patients. In addition to my dedication to patient care, I am an Associate Professor and hold several leadership roles at the Stritch School of Medicine. I direct the Center for Community and Global Health, which focuses on reducing health disparities through developing students’ skills in the care of underserved populations. I am also an Assistant Dean in the Office of Medical Education, and am dedicated to preparing the next generation of physicians.

Appears to be interested in my well being and not like just another senior to be rushed out of the office because my ailments are expected and not of great concern like some doctors
