About this event
The mnemonic S.T.A.B.L.E. stands for six assessment and care modules: Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, and Emotional Support. This program focuses on the first month of life, with a strong emphasis on the first few weeks after birth.S.T.A.B.L.E. is an evidence-based approach to the assessment and evaluation of both well and sick infants, as well as the immediate management of sick newborns. Curriculum targets the majority of problems frequently encountered, concentrates on underlying pathophysiology of neonates, and provides as a concise guideline for the pre-transport stabilization of sick newborns.
