Simulation Center

The Advanced Procedure Education Center and the Walgreen Virtual Hospital provide state-of-the-art facilities to foster procedure skills and simulation training.

Residents of all levels enjoy the use of this facility in training exercises including mock codes, intra-osseous line insertion, ultrasound guided central venous catheter insertion training, diagnostic point-of-care training (see POCUS tab), ABG and venous catheter insertion, and much more!

This curriculum is designed to promote team leadership, build communication skills, and improve patient outcomes.
