Young man's rare inner ear tumor removed by Loyola Medicine ENT specialist

After complaining of facial pain and headaches, Michael Simon was diagnosed with an acoustic neuroma, a rare tumor of the inner ear canal that can cause hearing and balance problems. Loyola otolaryngologist John Leonetti, MD, successfully removed the benign tumor, and now Michael is symptom-free.
