Young asthma patient reclaims life with help of Loyola allergist

Krystal was always worried when the phone rang that her son Eddie, age 10, was having a life-threatening allergy attack. It seemed almost daily that his allergies and asthma caused him to miss out on school, playing with friends or even just going outside. With the help of Loyola pediatric allergist Joyce Rabbat, MD, Eddie’s allergies no longer control his life. Since starting a series of allergy shots, he hasn’t had an attack in months and has even joined the lacrosse team, something that once would only have been a dream.
