Loyola Telestroke Program: Palos Health Patient Saved by Teamwork

Chris Scholten arrived at Palos Community Hospital with stroke-like symptoms. Using telemedicine technology, Loyola Medicine neurologist Michael Schneck, MD, examined Mr. Scholten remotely. Dr. Schneck recommended transferring Mr. Scholten to Loyola, where neurosurgeon G. Alexander Jones, MD, performed surgery to relieve life-threatening pressure in his brain.
