Non-surgical valve replacement

Aortic valve disease can lead to heart failure if left untreated. Loyola can treat patients with this disease by offering an alternative procedure in which an artificial valve is deployed with a catheter. Cardiac surgeon Mamdouh Bakhos, MD, and interventional cardiologist Fred Leya, MD, explain the benefits of this procedure.
