Loyola Medicine's Sickle Cell Anemia Program

The Loyola Medicine Sickle Cell Anemia Program is designed to address the needs of patients with this genetic blood disorder. This multidisciplinary team addresses issues such as pain management, preventive care, psychology and social work, as well as patient education. This four-pronged program helps patients spend less time in the hospital and more time building healthier lives.
