Doctor profile: Dr. Wendy Kim

Dr. Wendy Kim, a pediatric dermatologist, sees patients from infancy to 18 years of age. She often sees young patients with eczema, acne and birthmarks. Some have vascular birthmarks, such as port wine stain birthmarks. Laser surgery helps to lighten these birthmarks. When she has a young patient with acne, she asks how they feel about it. Some patients are there because their parents want them to be treated and others come in because they are worried about the potential scarring. Several treatments exist for acne. Dr. Kim enjoys helping the parents help their children. For more information or to make an appointment, please call 888-LUHS-888 / 888-584-7888.
