Patient resumes night driving after glaucoma treatment, cataract surgery

Robert Roza suffered from both glaucoma and cataracts.  His vision had deteriorated so much from cataracts that he was forced to stop driving at night. Loyola ophthalmologist Meenakshi Chaku, MD, first prescribed medications to control his glaucoma and then performed successful cataract surgery. Mr. Roza now can see clearly without glasses and has returned to driving at night.
