Loyola Center for Fitness receives outstanding customer service rating
MAYWOOD, Ill. --The name Loyola has become synonymous with going above and beyond to also treat the human spirit and the Loyola Center for Fitness is no exception. Recently, the fitness center received a top ranking for customer service making it a leader in customer service in comparison with other medical fitness centers of the same size. "We want to ensure that our members receive outstanding customer service," said Josh Carlson, executive director at the Loyola Center for Fitness. "We put a lot of time in training and encouraging our staff to be friendly and put the customer first. It's nice to be recognized for that." For a full year a "secret shopper" of sorts would twice a month stop in to evaluate the center on a variety of aspects including facility appearance, the staff's helpfulness and knowledge, workout experience and cleanliness. "People may come to our center initially because we have great equipment and a beautiful facility, but they stay because of the people and the way they are treated by our staff," said Josh. Being a medically based center it offers a plethora of services to assist people at their point of need. Staff are qualified and trained to help people with a variety of medical needs through fitness and wellness techniques, helping with continuum of care including staying connected with Loyola physicians. They also take great pride in creating a family environment and a friendly atmosphere promoting health and wellness for everyone. "We're kind of like Cheers where everyone knows your name. Only you come here to lose a beer belly and not gain it," said Josh. "We really have a sense of family here and strive to make people feel comfortable and welcomed."
