MAYWOOD, Ill. – Janelle M. Meyer, MD, has joined Loyola University Health System’s hematology/oncology team and is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
Meyer’s medical interests include sarcoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumors and gastrointestinal malignancies.
In addition to her clinical skills, Meyer has a passion for clinical research. She has been an investigator on numerous trials for the treatment of soft tissue sarcoma.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at University of Arizona in Tucson, where she also spent a year as chief resident. She completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Oregon Health & Science University, where she also received a certification in clinical research.
Dr. Meyer sees patients at the Cardinal Bernadin Cancer Center on the hospital’s main campus in Maywood as well as at the Loyola Cancer Care and Research at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center at Melrose Park located at 715 W. North Ave.
