10-year-old Daria Twarowski Attempts to Break Own Record
The children of Washington School in Schiller Park will cheer on their fellow schoolmate, fifth-grader Daria Twarowski, during the all-school ribbon-cutting ceremony on their new Project Fit America fitness equipment.
Daria outscored 400,000 students in 40 states for the national champ position. Chicago Bulls mascot, Benny the Bull, and 200 students, teachers and community members will participate in demonstrations for each unique piece of equipment in the music-filled ceremony.
Daria Twarowski, 10, is the established national monkey bar champion, having completed 37 roundtrips in less than 30 minutes. Daria will demonstrate her winning technique at the ceremony and challenge all media members.
