Hundreds of former 'preemies" and their families will celebrate medical staff that helped them to survive and thrive
Hundreds of people who began life as fragile "preemies" clinging to life in Loyola's neonatal intensive care unit return with their families and friends to celebrate with the nurses, physicians and staff who helped them to survive and thrive during the 31st Annual NICU Reunion.
The free reunion take place from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, in Rooms 150 and 160, Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, 2160 S. First Ave., Maywood.
The reunion is open to all and will include former patients ranging in age from a few months to their early 30s. The day will feature food and beverages, arts and crafts and fun family activities. Children and adults in Halloween costumes are welcome. Stroller parking and changing stations will be available for the convenience of moms and dads.
