Dr. Lake has a particular interest in rare and complex conditions such as immunobullous disorders. She also performs cosmetic procedures including Botox injections, laser skin treatments and chemical peels.
"Your skin is part of everything you do every day," Dr. Lake said. "It's very personal, and I like connecting to patients on a personal level."
Dermatologists treat thousands of skin conditions, ranging from minor rashes to life-threatening melanomas. "For the most part, we are able to make people better, and that is very rewarding," Dr. Lake said.
