12 Loyola Doctors Named to Chicago Parent Magazine's 'Favorite Kids' Docs' List

MAYWOOD, Ill. -- Twelve Loyola physicians have been named to Chicago Parent magazine's list of “Chicago's Favorite Kids Docs.” The list is compiled from Chicago Parent Magazine readers who nominate their favorite kid-friendly physicians. All physicians were personally recommended by moms and dads who trust these doctors with their children’s health. “There is little that is more important to a parent than protecting their child’s health. We have some of the finest pediatric physicians, who truly care about the whole family and keep our promise to go beyond the illness to treat the whole person,” said Jerold Stirling, MD, chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. “What an honor to know that moms and dads have such confidence in our care that they want to share it with others.”

Full-time Loyola physicians on the list include:

• General Pediatrics: Rebecca Barbato, MD

• General Pediatrics: Michelle Toma, MD

• Family Medicine: Amy Buchanan, MD

• Nephrology: Rekha Agrawal, MD
