About Dr. Kinsinger

Biography

Dr. Kinsinger is a board certified health psychologist and Director of Behavioral Medicine for the Digestive Health Program at Loyola University Health System.   Dr. Kinsinger earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Miami and completed a health psychology fellowship at the University of Illinois Medical Center at Chicago.  She specializes in the use of behavioral interventions for gastrointestinal conditions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and gut-directed hypnotherapy. She sees patients with a variety of chronic digestive conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome, functional dyspepsia, gastroparesis, crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis.  She is a certified cognitive therapist and is trained in the use of clinical hypnosis for medical conditions.
