Angela Kurien first started her BSN RN career at Loyola University Medical Center's Trauma ICU in 2008. She then went on to expand her knowledge and critical care experience at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in the Surgical/Cardiac ICU, where she was promoted to Critical Care Educator for the ICU, step-down ICU and telemetry floor while pursuing her Master's degree in becoming a Nurse Practitioner from 2009-2014.
Angela has completed rotations in hospice care, VA blind rehabilitation, VA general medicine clinic and skilled nursing rehabilitation. She graduated with her Master's in Science of Nursing degree in May 2014 and is a board-certified Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
Angela is now thriving at Loyola Neurosurgery, specializing in neuro-endovascular procedures such as cerebral aneurysms, facial/vascular malformations, carotid stenosis, degenerative spine and ischemic strokes. She loves to help others who are in desperate need of answers. Her caring nature, compassionate spirit, and uplifting kindness toward everyone drives her to help patients and families find clarity and understanding.
