Transplant patients need to be aware of their greater risk for skin cancer

Dr. Rebecca Tung, division director of Dermatology at Loyola, talks about how the anti-rejection medications that transplant recipients take can put them at greater risk of developing skin cancer later in life.

Kidney transplant recipient Terry McDermott noticed a skin blemish about 10 years after his transplant and now is much more vigilant in protecting himself from the sun.
