How boxer Paco Rodriguez multiplied his life by five

Alex Rodriguez, brother of Francisco "Paco" Rodriguez, talks about how his youngest brother became interested in boxing and turned pro.

Paco was very disciplined about his training and lifestyle. Then in 2009 he was invited to a title fight in Philadelphia. In the first round, he got caught with a right hand. But he didn't give up. He came back strong in the second round. In the 10th round, however, they stopped the fight. Paco was hurt, badly hurt. He didn't recover.

The Rodriguez family came together and decided to donate his organs to help others in desperate situations. And so Paco in a sense didn't pass away, his life multiplied. For more information about organ donation and Gift of Hope, please call (630) 758-2600.
