Loyola Center for Fitness to Hold Indoor Triathlon

All Fitness Levels Encouraged to Participate

The Loyola Center for Fitness will host its third annual triathlon on Saturday, March 31. This one-day event is open to adults at all fitness levels. Participants will be competing against people in similar age groups. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers in each age group as well as top male and female finishers.

Triathlon participants will swim for 15 minutes, bike for 20 minutes and run for 15 minutes. There will be a 10-minute transition time after swimming and 5 minutes after biking.

The event will begin at 8 a.m., but participants are encouraged to arrive in enough time to register and be in the pool 15 minutes prior to start time. The event will be held at the Loyola Center for Fitness, 2160 S. First Ave., Maywood. The cost for members is $40 and $50 for nonmembers.
