15 Area Students Each Receive $1,000
MELROSE PARK, Ill. – The auxiliary and medical staff of Gottlieb Memorial Hospital awarded annual scholarships of $1,000 each to 10 high school graduates of 2011 and five college students. A separate scholarship was awarded to Derek Rogaz of Chicago by Dilip Patel, MD, and his wife, Krishna Patel, MD, who both practice medicine at Gottlieb. Rogaz, a graduate of Guerin Prep High School is now attending Loyola majoring in pre-medicine. All students were selected on the basis of grades and interest in medical careers.
