Golf Outing Benefits Ronald McDonald House Charity
WHAT: The Loyola Center for Fitness will be hosting its 4th Annual 18 Holes of Hope Charity Golf Outing at Riverside County Club on Monday, Sept. 17. The outing will benefit families and patients who are receiving medical care at the Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital® at Loyola University Medical Center.
The event costs $195 dollars per person and includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, a continental breakfast, a barbecue lunch and prizes. Proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital® of Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) and the Ronald McDonald House® near LUMC.
Ronald McDonald House® near LUMC offers a nearby home-away-from-home respite for parents and other family members who have children needing extended medical care. The house offers guests:
- Private bedrooms
- Bathroom shared by only one other bedroom
- Laundry facilities
- A kitchen to be shared by all
- Lots of open spaces
- Free parking
- 24-hour free shuttle service to campus
WHEN: Sept 17, tee off is at 9 a.m.
