Body Imaging Specialist Joins Loyola

MAYWOOD, Ill. – Joseph H. Yacoub, MD, has joined Loyola University Health System’s team of radiologists and is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.

His medical interests include abdominal and pelvic MRI, with a special interest in prostate MRI, MR enterography and pancreatobiliary imaging. In addition he has an interest in imaging informatics.

He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a recipient of the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award from the Radiological Society of North America Research and Education Foundation.

Active in research, he has several publications in medical journals including Radiographics, Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging and MRI Clinics of North America. He has spoken and presented abstracts at several medical conferences and meetings.

He is a member of the Radiologic Society of North America, American College of Radiology, International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine, Society of Computed Body Tomography & Magnetic Resonance and Society of Imaging Informatics in Medicine.
