Trouble slumbering? Loyola sleep program treats apnea, insomnia and more

Dr. Sunita Kumar, co-director of the Loyola Sleep Program, talks about how vital sleep is to good health.

Loyola's multidisciplinary team is composed of board-certified sleep specialists, Ear, Nose and Throat surgeons, psychologists, board-certified respiratory therapists and sleep technicians. Some of the conditions that our patients have include:

  • Narcolepsy
  • Idiopathic hypersomnolence
  • Sshift work disorder
  • Jet lag disorder
  • Insomnia
  • Restless leg syndrome
  • Sleep apnea

Our specialists have found that many patients have developed bad habits that interfere with getting a good night's rest. The sleep study usually takes about 6-7 hours. Our team will show you how to use a CPAP device should you require one for sleep apnea.
