Cancer Resource Center

The Cancer Resource Center at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center provides you or your family members with necessary assistance and information to help you navigate the realm of cancer care. The Cancer Resource Center at Loyola is staffed by a patient navigator, a registered nurse who works directly with you to provide emotional, educational and clinical support.

Whether you are newly diagnosed or have already undergone treatment for cancer, the Cancer Resource Center is available to you. Made possible by the American Cancer Society Patient Navigation Services, the resource center contains valuable information about different cancers, treatments and research trials. If specific materials are not available, our patient navigator will research the topic and provide you with any materials she is able to locate.

Beyond information about cancers and treatments, our patient navigator assists patients with issues related to obtaining treatment for cancer, such as financial or transportation concerns.

The Cancer Resource Center is located on the lower level of the cancer center. Assistance is available Monday through Friday during business hours. Stop at the center during business hours or call (888) LUHS-888 and ask for the Cancer Resource Center.
