Loyola University Medical Center’s academic-level cancer expertise is available on Loyola's Melrose Park campus at Loyola Cancer Care & Research at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center. Gottlieb patients benefit from easy access to Loyola’s latest multi-disciplinary treatment protocols and pioneering clinical trials.
The Center was named after Marjorie G. Weinberg, who will be remembered for a lifetime of devotion to Gottlieb Memorial Hospital where she was a life member of the Board of Directors. Mrs. Weinberg was the daughter of the hospital's co-founders, David and Dorothy Gottlieb. Her many civic and philanthropic activities greatly benefited the fields of health, education and the arts. Also a cancer patient, Mrs. Weinberg played a key role in the design of the cancer center that bears her name.
Located just three miles north of Loyola’s Maywood campus, Loyola Cancer Care & Research at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center is accessible from North Avenue, just west of First Avenue.
