A. The Loyola Center for Health at Darien is not accepting any more well-visit appointments. We will continue to see patients who have appointments already scheduled at the Darien location until July 26.

A. We are already accepting appointments for our new Burr Ridge location. To schedule an appointment with a Loyola physician at Burr Ridge, please call (708) 327-1000. To schedule an appointment at any other Loyola site, please call (888) LUHS-888 (888-584-7888).
Q. Will my medical records and those of my family be transferred over to Burr Ridge?A. Yes, you and your physicians have access to your records from any Loyola site, including Burr Ridge. Burr Ridge physicians and staff will make extensive use of Loyola’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to share information and enhance patient care. Loyola also offers its patients a free, secure online portal called myLoyola Select, which also has apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Here you will be able to view your health summary, including current medications, your allergies, immunization records and a schedule of preventive-care recommendations, such as reminders to get a flu shot. You also can make appointments and send non-urgent messages to your physician and receive a reply. There will also be a summary of past appointments, including your vital signs, such as blood pressure and cholesterol levels. In addition, you can view test results after your doctor has released them.

A. The Loyola Center for Health at Burr Ridge is located at 6800 N. Frontage Rd., off I-55 at County Line Road. It is easily visible from I-55. Parking is free.

A. Immediate Care is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekdays, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends. No appointment is necessary. For all other services, please call (708) 327-1000 to schedule an appointment with a Loyola physician in any of the more than 20 specialties/services available at Burr Ridge.
Q. Do I need to have a referral to see a Loyola specialist?
A. If your insurance coverage requires eligibility to be seen in certain primary-care physician offices or requires referrals/authorizations for specialist visits or ancillary tests (like lab or X-rays), these must be obtained from your insurance company or primary-care physician prior to your arrival.
Q. I read in an article that registration and paperwork issues will be resolved ahead of my scheduled appointment. Do I need to do anything ahead of time?
A. The Burr Ridge center has taken several innovative steps to minimize waiting time for patients and physicians. The check-in process for clinic appointments at the Burr Ridge location has been streamlined to include only confirmation of patient demographics and the collection of any applicable co-pays. Verification of eligibility and receipt or HMO referrals or precertification will be done prior to patient arrival.
