Loyola has placed specialists in musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, neurosciences and cancer care in the community along with diagnostic services such as X-ray and treatments such as rehabilitation or chemotherapy. This reduces the time, travel and anxiety patients may sometimes associate with traveling to a large, unfamiliar medical center campus.
An important tool that unites Loyola’s locations and its experts is an electronic medical record (EMR) system. “With EMR, any Loyola physician caring for you will have instant, secure access to your medical history and more,” Mr. Post said.
