Loyola's Urogynecology & Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Center was the first of its kind in greater Chicago, and is still one of the few centers in the country that offers a single-center location for the diagnosis and treatment of women with pelvic floor disorders. At Loyola, urogynecologists (doctors with the combined expertise of urologists and gynecologists) provide the most advanced care available for women with problems related to the lower urinary tract and the pelvic floor (the group of muscles, ligaments and nerves that support and help control the vagina, uterus, bladder and rectum).

Loyola is one of the first medical centers in the Chicago area to offer minimally invasive robotic surgery for women's pelvic surgery procedures, including procedures for vaginal prolapse and incontinence (sacrocolpopexy) as well as hysterectomy.
