What We Do

Physicians at Loyola’s Musculoskeletal Care Center diagnose and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions from minor injuries to complex reconstructions. Our network of orthopaedic doctors, nurses, therapists, faculty and support staff provides a range of treatment from surgical care and alternative treatment to rehabilitation and therapy. Physicians usually try non-surgical treatment first. They make use of modern, less-invasive procedures whenever possible in order to minimize your pain and reduce recovery time.

When you or someone you love is in need of orthopaedic care or rehabilitation services turn to Loyola’s Musculoskeletal Care Center serving the Chicago area.  The specialists at our orthopaedic center have experience with many aspects of orthopaedic care, including hands, knees, hips, spine and shoulder injuries.  Our orthopaedic faculty and staff are comprised of physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists, surgeons, therapists, podiatrists, and other professionals.  At Loyola's orthopaedic care center, we treat children and adults with injuries and disorders of the joints, bones or muscles.

Our orthopaedic care faculty and staff work closely with our rehabilitation center.  Loyola provides rehabilitation services for both children and adults with physical and/or cognitive impairments or disabilities.  Our rehabilitation center offers diagnoses, evaluations and other services. The rehabilitation center physicians, faculty and staff have focused training in non-surgical treatments of many conditions and impairments.   Rather than surgery, we focus on reestablishing the cognitive, physical, recreational, social, vocational and occupational functions of our patients.  Depending on the symptoms or disorders and needs of the patient, the rehabilitation services can be either long or short term.
