Free Osteoporosis Screening
- Friday, May 18, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The Loyola Osteoporosis & Metabolic Bone Disease Center will offer FREE osteoporosis screenings, with physician interpretation of results and a recommendation plan.
Eligible attendees:
- Women over the age of 50 with a strong family history of osteoporosis
- Men and pre-menopausal women who have a history of low trauma fractures
- Men over the age of 70 and post-menopausal women who have not had a bone scan and have not been diagnosed with bone loss
No appointments are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome.

Come join the fun at the inaugural running of the Ronald McDonald® Children’s Hospital at Loyola University Medical Center 5K Race/Walk and Children’s Character Competition on Sunday, June 10, 2012. You’ll enjoy your run or walk on a scenic, flat course that winds through the Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) and Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital (Hines) campus.
All proceeds from this race will benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit renovation at the Ronald McDonald® Children’s Hospital at LUMC. Learn more about this great cause.
