Developmental Behavioral Services - Pediatric

The specialty of developmental behavioral pediatrics addresses common developmental and behavioral problems in childhood such as speech delay, temper tantrums, learning concerns and developmental delay as well as more complex disorders such as autism or attention deficit disorder. The specialists work in cooperation with other subspecialists such as pediatric neurology, pediatric genetics, pediatric neuropsychology and child psychiatry to provide a state-of-the-art assessment of the child's problem.

We utilize a team approach to assess and develop a family-centered treatment plan for the child by working closely with the family, child's primary care physician, early intervention program, school, therapists and other medical and non-medical specialists. The group has a long history of working successfully in partnership with local school districts, local agencies as well as the state of Illinois Early Intervention Program in order to help children achieve their best.
