Title:

A Phase II Trial of Response Adapted Therapy of Stage III-IV Hodgkin Lymphoma Using Early Interim FDG-PET Imaging

Purpose:

The purpose of this study is to estimate the two year progression-free survival in patients with advanced stage Hodgkin lymphoma treated with response-adapted therapy based on FDG-PET imaging after two cycles of ABVD.

Elgibility:

To be eligible, patients must meet the following criteria:
Previously untreated Hodgkin lymphoma stage III-IV.
Must have measurable disease and adequate pathology specimen available from original diagnosis.
Must be 18 - 60 years of age.
Must have CT scan and baseline PET scan.

Treatment:

You will receive standard treatment for your Hodgkin lymphoma for two cycles followed by a PET scan. PET-negative patients will continue to receive four cycles of standard treatment. PET-positive patients will switch to another treatment regiment (BEACOPP) for six cycles.
