Title:
S0350 A Phase II Trial of Cisplatin Plus Etoposide Plus Gemcitabine Plus Solumedrol (PEGS) in Peripheral T-Cell non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma
Purpose:
To estimate the 2-year overall survival of patients with peripheral T-cell non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) treated with a regimen of cisplatin, etoposide, gemcitabine, and solumedrol (PEGS). To assess toxicity, response rate (complete unconfirmed, complete and partial responses), and progression-free survival in patients treated with this regimen

Elgibility:
Newly diagnosed NHL of T-cell lineage or relapsed or progressing disease after one prior treatment with a non-platinum based chemotherapy. Must have stage III, IV or bulky stage II. Must be = 18 years of age. Must not be pregnant or nursing.
Treatment:
You will receive four different drugs every 21 days for six cycles. One drug will be given once every 21 days and three drugs will be given for four days in a row every 21 days.
